Once
I order, how long before my account is set up?
Usually this takes less than 12 hours to do. Once an order
is received it is processed for fraud, which is majority of the
wait. Once we have received the payment, we will create the account.
How long does it take for support questions to me answered?
Under most circumstances, we can do this within 6 hours,
often times within minutes.
If use up all my allotted space what happens?
You are welcome to either free up space on your account
or upgrade to the next plan. Upgrading to another plan does not
interfere with the website.
What is Bandwidth?
Bandwidth is the amount of data transferred between your
account and anyone who accesses files on it.
Where is my Control Panel?
The control panel is located at http://www.yourdomain.com/cpanel
Do you have Front-Page extensions?
Yes, these are enabled through cPanel.
What are the DNS Servers?
Since we use more than one server, you will have to check
in the welcome e-mail for the DNS server. If you have lost this,
contact support and a staff member will gladly resend the welcome
e-mail.
Can I have adult material? What counts as Adult material?
We do not allow adult material on our servers. Nudity,
pornography or offensive material are counted as adult material.
What scripts/programs are not allowed?
We do not allow programs/scripts that use excessive resources.
If you need to run these, we welcome you to contact us about a dedicated
server. These scripts are specifically not allowed but not limited
to the following:
- UBB
- YABB
- Any background running process
- IRC Bots
- eggdrop
- BitchX
- XiRCON
- warez
I just changed my DNS and my website still does
not work?
DNS propagation can take 1-3 days to occur. Make sure you
are using the DNS information provided in the welcome e-mail.
Do you have any spam protection?
Yes, in cPanel you can enable Spam Assassin. This is what
we have found to be most effective compared to other spam protection
systems.
Do you provide shell access?
We provide shell access on reseller accounts,
Where can I get a domain from?
We recommend NameCheap for domain registration.
The reason we do not handle this ourselves is because this gives you
the freedom and direct ownership of the domain. If you ever want to
change web hosts, this is one less complication for you.
